    Heading to Free America
I've got a Robinson XCR-L in my safe, chambered in 5.56x45. I contacted Robinson and they make conversion kits for 5.45x39, 7.62x39, 6.8spc, and .300 BLK. The first 3 run $560 and the .300 is $487. All kits include barrel, bcg (where needed), new springs, gas tubes if needed, etc.

I'm leaning toward the 6.8 or .300 although I already have each caliber covered with the AR platform.

Anyone have any experience with their conversion kits?
Basically, I'm looking for collective opinions regarding caliber conversions in general but not trying to stir up a caliber war...

BTW, the purpose of the caliber conversion is, at this point, just for variety. I don't need any of the calibers for hunting so most of what I do involves punching holes in paper or hitting metal plates.

    Thanks

Dunno, I'd be incline to say keep it simple and go with a caliber you have. One less ammo to stockpile and complicate your life. I am not really one to talk though, so he'll with it, 7.62x39
