    Holding the line in Baltimore
Just scored a retro A2 build using original Colt parts on a Nodak receiver. Looking for a matching 4x20 "retro feeling" optic that attaches to the carry handle (and also for use on my .22 AR).

The original Colt ones are hard to find and pretty expensive. Read good things about the blue ring Hakko scopes (now Japan Optics), but they don't seem to be sold in the US anymore. The Israeli copies have dried up.

You guys have any recommendations/experience or leads on where I could get my hands on a decent retro scope? There are lots of cheap options like Leapers/NCStar... looking for something in the $200 range that will hold up.

The old 4x20s were really a 'A1' type scope, for the A2 the 'retro' would be one of those rubber armored 3x9 scopes used on the Colt Deltas.

The origional Colt scopes were 3x . The 4x is a Chineese knockoff idea. But yes, the rubber coated 3-9x would be A2 correct.
