Hello, Any idea where in Balt. region I can get a feed latch re-staked? Took it down for a cleaning and it dropped out and unable to re assemble the gun. Thanks in advance.

You can clean the oil off and use a drop of superglue like I did on one of my 870’s. Acetone dissolves it if you need to pull it apart again

I have used a substantial punch to do it (not as pretty a result as the purpose designed staking tool is but, you don’t need to move “a lot” of metal).

It used to be you could order the tool from Brownells, use it and probably recoup majority of tool cost via CL , for sale card on range bulletin, or something.

But, now I see Brownells no carried the “Menck” mfr’ed tool (wtf?) https://www.brownells.com/gunsmith-...-stakers/remington-staking-tool-prod8867.aspx

I never thought of the super glue angle ... interesting, for sure ...
