I'm considering selling off my rimfire collection. Most of it I'm assuming is going to go up for sale at 100 a piece - or go to a buyback someday.

However, my Model 6 has me scratching my head. Is it in practically unused condition or did someone clean it up at some point? It was my dad's and I have no idea what he paid for it.

It is a smooth bore and it's shiny. Seems like it's in working order, though I haven't shot it. It's from 1927...

    any help would be appreciated.

If it truly is a smooth bore, it is a relatively rare gun. If it can be determined to be in all original condition, it could bring in the neighborhood of 600.00 If the wood has been refinished or the metal reblued, it would diminish that number significantly, to perhaps a third of that. A gun of that type has value as a collector more than as a shooter, but collectors demand originality.
