Good, I need a few more 870's. The big question will be if they will continue to produce all of the models Remington was or if they will limit it to certain models. I have an 870DM that I could use a few more magazines for but they have always been out of stock since I acquired it, even before the pandemic hit. If not I guess it will just hang out in the safe until the end of times because I refuse to pay upwards of $300 for a single magazine on Ebay.

From a link off of that article, Remington got broken up quite a bit in their bankruptcy:

    Ruger—Marlin firearms
    Vista Outdoor—Lonoke ammunition
    Sierra Bullets—Barnes
    Franklin Armory Holdings—Bushmaster
    Sportsman’s Warehouse—Tapco
JJE Capital Holdings—DPMS, H&R, AAC and Parker
    Roundhill Group—Remington firearms

Does RINO mean "Remington in Name Only" now?

At least they all appear to be American companies.

I think new management could be huge for Remington. A little more push to innovate and a bit more QC would go a LONG way to restoring their fortunes.

In a way yes. In the same way that DWINO means "Dan Wesson in name only" after CZ rescued the brand.

The bizarre part, IIRC, is that Roundhill needs to license the Remington name from Vista.

I just hope this means Remington 870 barrels are closer to market.
