Hmmm, I would have assumed smooth but they have rifle sights on them. Prolly set up for slugs.

I don't know but I've seen 870s that say police magnum so I assume there is a difference.

Clearly you have not shopped for or priced a new one recently. Even the online only guys sell them at around $700 to start.

Add ghost rings, rifle sights etc and they really get expensive.

Probably smooth bore with rifle sights. I have a barrel set up that way.

Right but these are express magunums which is an express that can take a 3.5" magnum shell right?
