This is as far as I am going. As Dirty Harry himself said, "A good man has got to know his limitations."

I am honestly a little uneasy when it comes to the prospect of shooting a handgun that begins with a 5. I have small wrists and arthritis. :D

Meh… I figure this is my destiny.

I confess to having a lust for the more substantial of calibers.

They'll think you're happy to see them

Right up until they find out that you are NOT happy to see them!
    ;)

I've found that given the size of my real-estate that I can get by with just about anything at the 4 o'clock position, including a G20, without anyone having a clue.

The LCR at the 1 o'clock is very handy,

I was just researching how revolvers fit in the simple belt slide holsters. It might be an option. I'm not planning on carrying it full time, but in an occasional rotation with the 1911.

I had a S&W 629-nothing that I bought when they first came out. Very heavy to carry, but was fun to shoot and actually had a nice trigger pull. Expensive to feed regularly though.

Dumb me traded it many years ago towards an AR just before the '94 AWB.

    Congardulations Joe !

The good news is that your gun will fit many holsters for N Frames. Having previously carried your M27 , you have a pretty good idea what this one will be like.

Yes , you will be near manditory to handload now , both for $ , and to tailor to a suitble vel/ power level. Yes , cast bullets are good. But you don't need to imedately jump into csting your own. Virtually every commercial caster offers .44's , most frequently the Magma Engeneering style ( aka generic ) 240gr swc. While not a True Keith bullet , they usully give good accuraccy , and are popular to have a lot of data in their own right.

Norton has the strength to handle those because he routinely wields THE BAN HAMMER.

Maybe he'd let Joe build up his slim and almost lady like wrists and forearms by being the BAN HAMMERER for a month or so.

Then Joe could handle a whopper too...
