Sorry had to throw it out there. But seriously just like the cost of a press or any other accessories once you get past the original cost it is fairly cost effective habit in the long run.

Addiction: devoted to a particular activity or thing, to the extent that one does it or has it as much as possible
Obsession: an idea or thought that continually preoccupies or intrudes on a person's mind

I would have to say that for me it is a little bit of both, if a little bit is even possible.
