Per Ruger it looks like 2005 was when the "new" Vaqueros started;

What year is “new” in your opinion?
I see someone gave you some data that includes "trail boss" powder. That works great if you ar only going to shoot the rounds through your rifle. a little disappointing in a revolver but great in the long barrels.
PS those are for pistol. I can go back and look later if there is separate rifle reloading data for 45 colt
My Lee Maual (second addition) dos not have separate data for rifle and pistol. In 45 colt they only have Ruger and non Ruger.
And, how would the manufacturer know what you were putting the cartridge in at the factory if tey are outwardly identical? I haven't read every manual ever published, but I have never seen separate load data for any cartridge rifle and pistol. One of the benefits of a cartridge that chambers both is out on the range you don't need to carry 2 types of ammo.
