    That's what happened to me. I actually managed to break it in several places.

    I will never, ever, under any circumstances, buy another Ruger product! In fact, Warren Buffet doesn't have enough money to pay me to take one of their ill-designed pieces of junk!

    I will admit, though, that they are extremely accurate.

    Its not that bad once you get used to it.. they are accurate and inexpensive.

    Ruger has excellent customer service. If you returned the pistol to them they probably would have fixed it for you.

    I loaned one of mine out and a guy dropped it into the mud (topped with a Leupold Pistol Scope). He tried to clean it himself (first time) and jammed the backstrap into the frame. :sad20: Clyde's gunsmith (arbutus maryland) could not get it out. It was sent back to Ruger.

    My charge = 0.

    Never loan a firearm out. Every experience I've had has been negative :sad20:
