Keep in mind that the Dems will use the increase in "D" registration in their propaganda that Maryland is increasingly a Democrat state, thereby possibly discouraging Republicans from going to the polls.

Do Republicans even stand a chance in most counties anyway? I think having 100% of voters registered as Democrat sends a message that everyone knows the gerrymandered system is rigged and that they are fighting back the only way they can, i.e. primary voting.

This will also be more apparent when the number of people that show up to vote in the primary outnumber those that show up to vote in the general election.

Harford County, with the exception of the ghettos (Edgewood, Aberdeen, and Havre disGrace) most always goes Republican. so do many others. Maryland elections are determined by Baltimore City, Baltimore, PG, and Montgomery counties.

two lines of thought on this

The uneducated voter won't know this so its a secret weapon , right in front of them :D

Most lazy voters will say I don't have to vote its a shoe in ( if the educated voter knows how many new comrades they have)
