Record bass

I heard rumors and seen a pic of what is supposed to be a bass caught last week that tied the Md state record.Supposedly it was caught at Loch Raven on a top water lure.If its true....thats crazy.Mid winter .....on top water????Anybody else heard of this?

big fish...I caught a nice one 22.5" long at Myrtle grove. I didnt get the weight.

Would be a shame if it isnt true.The guy I heard it from is reliable but I dont know the guy he heard it from.

Loch Raven reservoir isn't closed for the winter?

Boat ramp is closed. You can still fish from shore/bridge.
