I am looking for a shop or person in Maryland (Preferably within an hour of Baltimore) who does good work threading barrels. Specifically .22 rifle barrels.

Tim Hafer does great work too. He's in Hagerstown so depending on where you live, may be within your drive time radius.

I have had John at Duffy's do a Ruger MkIII 22/25. NICE work.

Or are you referring to the guy asking the question I answered. Then I guess I already clued him in.

He was attempting to make a lighthearted joke, since you misspelled "threading' in your title. It says "treading."

I guess it went right over your head.

It would of made more sense I guess if he quoted the tread thing instead of my response. Guess posting a topic on my way to work in a rush would create misspellings

As an FYI - I sent mine off with a check for $65. Not sure if that is more or less than the local offerings. Think it was about $10 to ship it out to Texas, so a total of $75.

I can PM the info if anyone cares.

Why do you want someone to tread on your barrel?

To add a suppressor to a non-threaded barrel, unless there is a easier way to do it now.

It's sad when they are so clueless at times. :)

Somebody already did that. And you missed that also.

We pick on you because with like you.
