Same problem local to me. I believe they're recieving instructions to avoid accountability. You probably got some of the same canned responses from an administrator.
I can get not willing to diagnose outside of their profession but the problem with some of these kids is not that they are being medicated, its when the medication has stopped being taken. Doctors know that. The government knows that. I know that.In these cases there seems to be great reluctance to brand the person as a mentally disturbed individual simply because he is a kid. They put them on strong medication and send them right back to school. When someone has made multiple overt threats, it has gone far beyond a kid with problems fitting in. I simply cannot understand how the administrators can find this to be an acceptable practice given recent events.
