So, as some of you may recall, I built my own .300 blk upper for sh!ts and giggles a few months ago. After several months of being too busy to have any fun, I finally had an opportunity to take my new toy to the range and put about 100 rnds downrange. I must say that I think I'm in love! This baby shoots like a dream and is accurate as hell. First, here's the setup:
I am/was using a Vortex Strikefire Optic with a 1 MOA dot.
Here's the ammo:
Remington UMC (Green Box) 115gr.

Here are the results:
I had a great time shooting my rifle; I did not encounter any problems related to feeding, cycling, or ignition. The gun functions flawless and was an absolute dream to shoot.
Received the final parts for my .300 blk build tonight and here's the finished product:
Upper Specs:
No Name Stripped Upper
DPMS Charging Handle
Spikes BCG
PSA 16" .300 BLK barrel
YHM Diamond Quad Rail
JP Enterprises Clamp-On A2 Sight
AAC 51T Flash Suppressor
YHM Low Pro Gas Block & Carbine Gas Tube
Sorry for the craptastic pics.
