I'm looking for reloading data for the above plated bullets for 40 cal S&W.
How much should I reduce the powder charge using plated bullets vs. FMJ?
Any info would be greatly appreciated. I generally use Winchester 231 powder.

I generally work up my plated bullet loads using published data for similar type and weight cast bullets.

I also reload a 165 grain plated bullet in 40 s&w and have used above mid-range on the powder. Unique at 5.6-5.7 and it shoots fine. The plated bullets are becoming better as some manufacturers are adding a couple of thousandths more copper than some others. It seems that almost everyone is also double-striking their bullets for more consistency to enhance accuracy.
