I have a Glock 27 and a Suppressor. I have ordered a threaded barrel and the correct adapters for my can. Besides adding some tall sights is there anything else I need to do to make this run properly like upgrade the springs?

Also, I have heard that suppressing a pistol with such a short barrel is not a great idea. Is this true? Anyone have experience suppressing a subcompact Glock?

It can be done and there are some good threads on the Silencertalk forums about it however they all seem to say its not worth it, it's still loud as hell, and there are reliability issues and possible frame cracks associated with it.

I have a Glock 26 I have run suppressed. It is fairly quiet with subsonic ammo. Of course, it's a 9mm, not a .40.
