Oh the memories. 100mph tape. 20round mags. I was in the first recruit company at FLW to get K-pots.

The handguards would rattle and the sling would clank against the stock. We used green tape ( also referred to as aircraft tape) wrapped around them, to stop the noise. We never used it to clamp the mags together, at least not in my unit. I ETS'd in '78.
