I didn't like the grips that came on my 1911, so I gave them to a buddy and bought a set of Colt grips for my pistol. Upon further inspection, I have picked up a set of 150th Anniversary grips....apparently they were only available in 1986 and seem to be quite desirable.

Can any of the 1911 or Colt gurus here confirm or deny this? There is a listing on Gunbroker for a set, but there are no bids on them. I paid MUCH less than what the Gunbroker listing is priced.
