With AR lowers being able to be sold again and made into SBR's & pistols.........

What about the PTR Receivers for making into SBR's also like a G3k/91k over 29 inches or can a 91k/G3k pistol be purchased ?

Legally, this would be fine. As far as actual feasibility, I would need to find a source for stripped receivers. Do you know if PTR sells receivers?

Kelley Enterprises actually sells a G3k pistol complete........

All I would need to do is the Form 1, if this is something I can bought and sent to Md?

    HKParts.net sells the receivers.

I'll have PTR G3K pistols soon, and I already got them on the handgun roster. The Kelley Ent pistol would need to be procured and sent to the roster board, so the earliest you could get one would be November.

No, it is similar to the PDW, but it has a wide forearm and a 12" barrel (or maybe 12.5", I don't recall exactly). They will be available August 11th

IME If you are not a skilled tig welder, skip the bare receivers and buy a complete pistol to SBR. There is a lot more work to putting together an HK from bits than an AK.

AFAIK, hkparts.net has exclusive rights to the RCM parts and PTR makes their own barrels

I could buy the pistol and then buy the RCM barrel from Adam at HKParts and send off to Ghillie for the barrel swap and a once over on it :D

Sure, but why not wear out the orig first? :) No need to worry about it until a couple thousand rounds from now.

I made do with making a g3 clone with a stick welder last year. Runs great.
