For an extra $50 you can get a 16" Mid Length BCM upper without BCG or CH. They've been in stock just about every 3 or 4 days.

I didn't think the bcm was 1/7 if not I'd rather have the palmetto personally.

    Per the product description:
    USGI 1/7 Twist Rate
The USGI 1/7 twist rate of all of the BCM barrels is the preferred twist rate by most professional infantryman. This twist rate has proven very versatile and can effectively run the new heavier 5.56 ammo that is hugely popular with military and private security personal for its’ superior ballistics.

I've heard a couple different comparisons but what do you guys think about BCM uppers vs. PSA uppers? Are there any differences?

I think Spikes use mainly Lothar Walther barrels on their builds. The PSA use an FN Barrel, for their steel barrels, and the premiums are Hammer Forged Steel. I don't know who makes their stainless, but the last one I bought about 6 months ago just had PSA stamped into it.

Never heard anything bad about fn barrels for an ar. That's primarily what I've seen when I've looked at psa.

Prob is I'm looking for a 20 inch stanless and that's a unicorn right now.
