I hate to intentionally create a duplicate thread, but maybe people aren't seeing this because it was created in the Central Maryland forum, and not here in the MD 2A Issues section.

This Saturday MSI is hosting a booth in South Anne Arundel County. This is in Senate President Mike Miller's home district. You may recall he steered SB 281 though the Senate, called for a re-do vote when an amendment "accidentally" went the wrong way and penalties were increased for *real* bad guys who used a gun while committing a violent felony, and who has Beretta in his district.

Sadly, and embarrassingly, we're having problems fully staffing the booth. I'm hoping it is because not everyone reads that regional forum, and thus missed the announcement. I'd like to not think that the gun grabbers were right, and that our staying power is zilch, that now that 281 is passed we didn't mean what we said about payback in 2014.

Senate President Mike Miller is potentially vulnerable. He has a rural and partially conservative district. Please help us educate his constituents about how he stabbed them in the back.

This event is this Saturday. We can use your help.

It's a tough weekend to cover

With it being Father's Day weekend, many guys with families are committed. I'm usually at Budd's Creek with my son, but am covering the SoAACo festival instead.

That said, keep in mind that Miller, who partially represents this locality, managed to break Senate rules with a backroom deal and have a critical amendment vote reversed. Sort of like what has just happened in NJ.

In the run up to litigation, we are fighting a PR battle now. Apathy is our worst enemy ...
