Is pre ban car 15 more desirable than modern AR? If so, why?

What are the value of pre ban car 15?

They can be SBR'd. It's my favorite configuration. It will require a pinned and welded brake to be Merryland legal. I used to have one. I want one again.

Really? Oh - 10" barrel instead of 10.5" I did not realize they had that short a barrel.

The one i had years ago before selling it was an 11.5” barrel with a pinned flash hider to make up the 16”. Other than the cool factor, I wasnt really a fan of it.

'60s , '70s , '80s CAR are highly esteemed by Colt collectors aka $$ . Because of the rarity and history .

I have an old Bushmaster with an 11.5 HBAR and a pinned and welded 80% flash hider

Pre-94 ban ARs are valuable because people in MA can still freely get them.

Old Colt ARs are collectible, so nice examples of them also go for a lot.
