I was in a dicks sporting goods today looking for .22 and 5.56. They didnt have any but they did have a full shelf of triple seven powder and pellets. I thought I was in luck until I saw that it was $43 per pound or per 100 pellets. I havent bought any black powder or black powder substitutes for a while. Anyone else seeing prices like this on black powder? Is this what the going rate is now or were they jacked up?

That's crazy, i just paid $70 for 5 lb's of real Black power not fake 777. If you by it by the 5 pounds its only 15 bucks a pound at Back creek. http://www.blackpowderva.com/

thats a great price. I'm not too picky about the type of powder. Its all dirty anyway. Thats a bit of a long drive for me though. At least i know that that isn't the going price for powder now, that would really suck if it was.
