Prices took a jump when FN announced they were discontinuing production of the P-35. They were only producing about 4000 annually and the tooling was worn. The math made it simple…cost of new tooling against low sales. The orange just wasn’t worth the squeeze.

It's really sad these pistols that have been in service for decades will be destroyed. They're doing their best to contribute to the cultural revolution by destroying historical pieces.

LOL it's already about doubled in the last 5 years or so... most have been through at least one full overhaul and refinished at least once. Finding one with no import marks and original finish is sublime. Finding one with an intact original Maple Leaf decal on the frame... priceless (or so those that are selling them seem to think).
Indeed, that fragile Maple Leaf decal is worth enough that I remember at one time in the distant past someone was selling repop decals. Now there's a scary thought!
