This raises some interesting legal questions. Where is PH located as a business. Where do they actually conduct business. Many of their servers are probably located in VA so there is some nexus that allows VA to assert control. For a state like MS, are they really 'offering' their free product within the state if all they do is send data from their out of state equipment after a in-state consumer requests it.

We'll see if the ACLU gets on this. While it may only be porn, next thing some leftist state bans 'hate speech' like the concept of sex and gender being determined by genetics (rather than your middle school counselor) etc.

For now this is going to be a boon for the VPN companies.

You know, despite being a VA resident, I never knew about this issue until I read it here. Sorry, I don't watch that pornhub channel. I'm too interested in guns, suppressors, bicycles, motorcycles, and general aviation and lead quite a boring life.

Does VA residents give their government Id number and address to adult site. Seems like a huge security issue

The internet should be free (as in liberty...although paying to access it doesn't seem right either). Pornhub blocking VA is OK, I guess. VA blocking Pornhub is not. :nono:

Well this was certainly news to me

Looks like the nanny state mentality is starting to infest VA too
