I just noticed, for anyone interested, that Midway USA has these on sale right now for $119.99, however, since it is on sale, you can't use the discount coupon.
I just got my all cut and drilled and I am having trouble with the locking block. I read/saw that there are issues with the G17 V2's having tighter tolerances and some people were able to force the locking block in but some were unable to and had to have a replacement sent. Mine is really tight, I was able to force it in with a hammer but was unable to get it to sit flush and line up with the hole for the front pin. Anyone else have the same or a similar issue?
Zero Cool - which frame fit the holster -- the poly g17 or the g19? Thanks
On my P80 version 1.5 I used a file to remove some material from the sides of the frame in the front. Follow this by sanding with a fine sandpaper until smooth. It will now fit into any holster meant for a Glock 17.
My P80 version 2.0 would need the same modification to fit in it from what I can see. Right now it is resting comfortably in a universal holster on my webbed belt rig.
It works great on the G19 as well. Thanks ZeroCool
That piece is your rear rails and should be installed behind the magazine well. It is held in place by the plastic pin in your kit.
I think that you are talking about the locking block for the factory Glock frame that comes with some of the frame kits. This is not used in the Poly 80 frame. They provide their own locking block to be used instead of the Glock locking block.
