    Hi i;m new to rifle shooting and plan on making a purchuse on a .22 soon but i would like to scope out some places to see what the ranges are like? and what the fes are and such any help would be appricated

    You can shoot a .22 any any indoor or outdoor range.

    im thinking outdoor becasue i want to get a .308 before hunting season so i want a place to shot that also when i get that and i live in the pasadena area

    But i guess no places to scope out before i have to become a member to a club or range?

    Welcome to the forum. I make the trip up to Elk Neck about once a month. It's a little ways off, but they have a good rifle, pistol and trap ranges. Not too crowded most of the time. A big plus is that you don't have to join a club for $2-300. The yearly range permit is $50 and you have to supply your own target and stand.

    I think I'll take a look at Hap-Baker but any thing else mabe a little closer is helpfull!

    The AGC Range at Marriottsville Rd. and Wards Chapel Rd. in western Baltimore County. Check out their web site
    Associatedgunclubs.org. Go to the member clubs and check them out.
