Having a "Senior Moment" are we?
No, but it's a royal pain trying to hunt down multiple old threads and merge them when they're not on the same page.

Usually I do delete the "bump" posts afterwards though...

That is an AR57 upper with 12" barrel. It is on a full auto registered receiver with full auto bolt. It uses FN P90 50 round mags and ejects the rounds down through the mag well. Very fun, and controllable gun to shoot.
An AR57 is on my short list of next things to purchase

Snagged this Colt from the classifieds. Added the Magpul handguard (came with stock and grip from previous owner) and the Holosun. Going to shoot it this week, then possibly try the “blowback9.com Gentle Recoil System”.

Pretty nice, if you go for that quality and craftsmanship thing.... :D
The carbine at 100 yards with peeps 4" groups and the pistol at 50 yards 6" groups they are lookers and accurate too. I have been a lever gun guy for 50 years only had one bolt gun. I do not own any black rifles nothing wrong with them I just had enough of them when I served.

I tried it and it works. Not sure I like the extra long buffer tube and OAL. But it does make a huge difference in muzzle jump. FWIW - I used the standard Kynshot buffer, not the heavy damped.

    AWESOME setup BTW.

The extra buffer length could work to MD's advantage for SBRs. Getting that 29" OAL might mean a shorter barrel with that longer buffer. I've been thinking about this since reading about the gentle system. :gun2:
