I am looking to get a flash hider pin and welded. Has any one had this done in the Baltimore area? If so where at?
    Thanks

My friend has been calling around for quotes on this over the last day. He got an 85 with a two week turnaround from jacks gun works in havre de grace. Its about clock opposite the one listed above in the thread. As the work hasn't been done yet I can't comment on that aspect. Maybe someone else can. Just wanted to throw more options in the pool.

I talked with Mark at Precision Firearms today about pinning a flash suppressor. His turn around is 4 to 6 weeks I don't know what he charges. He is a class 07 firearms mfg. FFL and builds ar 15s. He is located in Avenue Md. in St Mary's County. Precisionfirearms.com.

Gun Connection did one for me. $100 an the turn-around was a week. This was before the madness.

I just got back from Bollinger. Awesome service! He charged me 20 bucks and did it right in front of me. It was definitely worth the drive. Highly recommended

I did my own. 20 cents for a 1/8" steel dowel pin, 5 minutes to drill a hole and dimple in the barrel and 5 minutes to set up the TIG torch to weld it. $20 is a fair price to do it IMHO

Easy if you have a TIG rig.

My friend went up to Bollinger's on the recommendation here and he could not have left happier.

Not bad. The Dynasty was a good bit cheaper when I bought mine. :)

Also see they have bigger Dyanasty rigs now.

I do mostly car-racing type welding. mostly 4130, 304 and 6061 tube. Does everything I need and only cost 1300

I do mainly car stuff also. I went to Lincoln's Motorsport Welding School. WELL worth it.

I paid under $3000 for my Dynasty 200DX and a water cooler and cart. I don't remember how much, but IIRC it was a good bit less. But also a number of years ago. The Dynasty was a new product. :)
