A while back I posted some really lousy (cheap) mobile phone photos of this rifle. Hope these are a little better.

Photos are of SGL-21 with Tula Arsenal marked 30 round bakelite magazine. The pistol grip is an Izhvesk Mechanical Plant (Izhmash) 70's era bakelite. The sling is unissued Soviet and the drum is Chinese.

    Hope you like

Dansammo.com has them. He sometimes has a table at Chantilly.

Well, I just ordered two (from Dansammo). Not exactly sure what arsenal they came from, but, the price (in this market) was right.

Original "Russian" bakelites for $49.95 each.

    Thanks for the tip...We'll see

I got these from Dan at Chantilly last time. One of each, but Bulgarians would look cool too.

Yeah, I know, my picture taking ability is still not real good. It is getting better though.

Here are some plum photos for you guys that asked. Not the same rifle though. This is a Bulgarian AK-74 rifle of mine. The magazines are 45 round Russian "Molots".

The photos make this rifle look black, but it is really, really dark plum.

Wait a second... does that first picture have a bit of a bare beer belly in the frame?

I know sticking a foot in there is a long-standing MDS tradition.... I really hope this doesn't start a trend lol
