For those that might have missed it, here's Del Atterbeary introducing HB786.

She's one of my delegates. What she described about determining where the exits are and what not is part of situational awareness. She's developing her skills to carry and doesn't even know it yet! Now we have something else to talk about.

Wow, she's evil, and that screeching voice, ouch (maybe it wasn't as bad in person). Never know whether to up or down vote videos when you don't agree with what's being said, but are glad that it's brought to light.

I wish that some SC justices or clerks would be privy to the mindset that goes into crafting such legislation. She's screaming about safety, her kids, and making the point that she's going after more than semi-automatic rifles - but long guns of a type that have been in this country since its inception. She's basically saying f*ck scrutiny.

It puts in context Smokey's snapping his fingers when she was clowning around with others during his testimony when he was talking about his kids.

For my colleague in Fredneck County I give you Del Ivey in all his glory. :D

Lol, folks jump to 1:21 to see the delegate that wants to ban the only legal AR-15 rifles in Maryland show that he hasn't done his homework. There were other examples in his testimony that followed, but this got the ball rolling.

I think it is worth noting that he was the ONE person who testified in favor of this bill. After awkwardly dodging questions, he vanished. The first names called to testify were on our side. That means that not only did none of the anti's stay to testify, they hadn't even signed up. EVERY bit of pubic testimony was in opposition to this bill. When (if? :fingerscrossed:), they still pass this bill, I think that is an important point to scream far and wide.

Personal shoutouts: That's my Del. Arikan :mdpatriot grilling him, and my Sherrif Gahler :mdpatriot who stayed until 3am to testify for us. Sheriff Gahler had already testified for the Harford County bills and could have gone home a long time ago, as he really didn't have any professional stake in this bill. He stayed to support our 2A :patriot:.
