Great job as usual, Rack and dblas! If and when our 'steamed county muppets ever have a "listening" session with the serfs, I plan to ask a few questions in a very PUBLIC manner:

- Of all those accused of gun-related crimes, how many were actually prosecuted for them? Why not?

- Of those who were convicted of gun-related crimes, how many were sentenced to the maximum under the Sentencing Guidelines? Why so few?

Got to ask: Why are you promoting Edwards?

Read the plan of attack below. And why:

The problem is a Patriot Picket could elevate this Van Hollen "campaign" event because our presence creates the conflict the media thrives on. That pushes what looks like a nothing-burger "no-news" story up to the top and gives Van Hollen the coverage he wants--which is he is fighting gun nuts.

This, at a time the Donna Edwards campaign is hurting Hollen by accusing him of cutting deals with the NRA.

So we are kind of stuck.... What say you?

The only counter-tactic that would work would be to demonstrate IN FAVOR OF DONNA EDWARDS (Operation Chaos).

You would have to hold a sign saying "WE SUPPORT DONNA EDWARDS" and then be prepared to explain that to the arriving media. Anybody up for that?

Showing up with our regular 2A/Infringers signs plays right into Van Hollen's hands as he points out the window and tells the media he is the best one to fight "those 2A extremists, who are the problem!"

It would have to be a sign event promoting Donna Edwards.

I'm game--who else? I can make a couple signs that say:

"DONNA WILL MAKE US PROUD!"
"EDWARDS FOR SENATE!"
"VAN HOLLEN IS A HACK!"

Yes, but challenging Van Hollen on 2A right before a primary where he is getting HEAT FROM HIS LEFT is exactly what he wants--it gives him the platform to say he is better equipped than Edwards to fight guns and gun "extremists".

No confrontation on 2A (that is a gift to Van Hollen), only shaming Van Hollen & Frosh on diversity and the MoCo bigfoot over the rest of the state.

That is the ONLY wedge we have TODAY to boost Edwards.

I need help, to make it look substantial and to have someone take pictures.

WHO'S IN?

As soon as the primaries are over we shift to direct BASHING of opponents, rather than boosting the weaker DemocRat that we want to run against. Get it?

Channel 8 showed Rack (after focusing on his forehead on live TV!) and said "there was a lone Donna Edwards supporter protesting, so that shows the obvious political angle to this conference where Van Hollen is in a difficult fight". Priceless!

The "new" research is over two years old and is the Missouri and Connecticut "studies".

Not peer reviewed, and their raw data has not been provided to see if anyone else comes up with the same conclusion.

Are they even asking the right questions?If you don't ask the right question, you don't get the right answer.

How about finding out about the economies, education, unemployment, drug abuse, and poverty in those high-murder rate places?

Nah, because those are all subjects that for the past 50 years, the Left has demigogued, co-opted as their own, taken the "high road" on, ridiculed conservatives and the Right about, spent TRILLIONS of dollars to address, gained a super-majority and the White House based on promises to fix it, and LEFT THE COUNTRY BROKE AND IN A SHAMBLES, WITHOUT FIXING ANY OF IT!

The only thing left for them to blame is the Right and the guns, because otherwise they'd have to blame themselves for their own failures.
