Patriot Picket participants will meet up directly across the street from Birdie's Cafe on the sidewalk. There is a small alleyway between 232 & 234 Main St. that we can base in front of.

4:30PM Saturday 9/1

Bring your own signs, or grab one of ours.

Planning on running 2 crews, Birdie's has front and rear entrances.

As a warm up, I thought I'd provide a little report on the host, Emily Shank. Quotes from her website, with my opinion added.

For Education, she uses the terms "increased long term investment" (umm...that means tax & spend), and "grow enrollment" as part of her "Grow Carroll" plan (which means overpopulating Carroll, less of our beautiful back roads and rolling hills).

For Health Care, she wants to "fully fund local health departments" with Government run health care (on the backs of Carroll's working citizens= more taxes). She wants "health care for ALL", yet is a member of Planned Parenthood (so no health care while in the womb).

She wants open borders as evidenced by her open hatred of the Trump administrations enforcement of Congressional Law in regards to illegal aliens. (The same enforcement used by the previous administration, which she didn't have a problem with then)

She wants a "liveable minimum wage", costing jobs and closing businesses, aiding in an increased unemployment rate. She does not believe in the free enterprise system.

She is endorsed by BIG UNION, including the teachers union, which support failed policies that negate accountability of educators and administrators, reducing the effectiveness of the actual education itself. (How has Union backed politicians worked out for Baltimore?). She uses Maryland's rating system, which rates schools on amount of money spent as the benchmark, instead of the actual effectiveness of educating students.

She is a member of an anti Constitutional and naive organization. (Think "moms")

She claims to want to break the political machine in Annapolis, yet seeks their endorsement.

She claims to be "bipartisan", yet has ONLY Democrat endorsement.

She suggests that Carroll citizens are the problem because of our current elected leadership, and demands that we "get out of her way". Displaying the exact kind of self serving arrogance that the corrupt Democrat machine in Annapolis breeds. Proving she is either a minion, pawn, or protege of the exact problem she claims to want to fix.
