I think I want an SAS. Can I put the XL grip on it too? I think I can but not sure.

These little guns tear up my hands (OA). I love my M9 but not gonna carry it.
You'll need to change mags though. Step up to the 12 rounders. Longer grip.

Being the cheap aka broke bastard that I am, I was able to spend $6 on anti-slip tape and transform the XL grip module on my P365 (and my G17 and G20 and a couple more that may or may not exist) to something much more stable in my sweaty hands. The extended mag release does pique my curiosity though...

For those of you running out and getting a P365(any model), or already have one....... My suggestion is you NEED to get an extended mag release.
The stock release kind of follows the smooth front curve of the handgrip. With this grip being small, it pretty much requires you to adjust your grip in order to sneak your thumb tip to depress it.
An extended release sticks up and away from that curve. This allows you to basically use the inside part of your thumb to depress it. For me and everyone I have shown, agrees it's a game changer.

This is a picture from Armory Craft and their release. I am only posting this because it's the first pic I saw that best shows it. A search will bring up more than a few options. It's an easy swap for about 30 bucks and to me, I think is probably the best addition to this pistol. View attachment 374453
    #1 reason I didn't like.

If you have to mod a gun from the get go, should be a non-starter. And suggested solution looks worse.

Hate on me if you wish.

You can make a good thing better. No one gun is good for all. The P365 is very good out of the box. The ability to personalize it is a giant selling point. YMMV.

Back in the Revolver Era , it was standard practice to imeadately change grips to something fit you better/ more suited to purpose / both .

So which one of your guns will 100 out 100 people like the way it feels the 1st time. I guess all the walls in your house are builder white...

Do you have a 365? The mag release sucks. It's not "mod-ing" the gun and it's shooting performance. It's making you a better handler of that pistol.
You literally have to lose your grip to press it. That's a no go.

I totally agree after purchasing this pistol. It was the first issue I discovered with it. Don’t get me wrong it’s a great CCW pistol but this is as pointed out a critical operational improvement.

I just switched mine to use my trigger finger.

And figure if I have to reload, I am already dead. :)

Looking at mine now without a breakdown, is this removal/installation of the mag release difficult?

Does anyone else think the rail release is a bit hard to thumb down?

Please fix the computer error.

On my standard P365, I feel the stock release is awkward as I have to rotate my hand to use it. I am going to get one of the extended models probably the Armory Craft version. My hands are normal sized, not too big or too small.

Look up Sig Guy on YouTube. He has a couple videos on removing and installing a mag release for the 320s and 365s.

Or get a Wilson combat grip module, it comes with the stock mag release in a bag so all you have to do is install the one you want

Make sure the magazine is ejected first, I’ve found that to be a cause for a very hard take down lever.

If you want to cruise to Westminster I’ve got an armory craft that I’ll be happy to install for you. Somehow I ended up with an extra
