I will first start off by saying this wasn't an 'adventure', but rather as my guide for survival to anyone stuck in snow.
Being the idiot that I am I decided to check out BK/McD's to see if either was still open so I could get myself some grub. I was able to get the car out of the driveway but it got stuck shortly there after (a whopping 5 feet from the starting point). So for about an hour and with much cursing I somehow got the car to spin 180 degrees and got it back in the driveway.
So now without BK/McD's I was back to Step 1... so I decided that no amount of snow was going to force me to have a crap meal out of the microwave. Here's what you need to do if you want to have an enjoyable meal without being stuck inside.
1. Go out and using a kicking motion, make your way to the grill. Turn on the grill.
2. Let the grill melt some snow, and in the mean time check supplies.
3. After a few moments your grill should now look like this...
4. I find it important to have backup food for the grill, so I normally keep a box of Black Angus Bubba Burgers. These are great as they can last a bit in the freezer. When grilling them, use plenty of fire to keep yourself warm and to avoid freezing your bits.
5. While grilling assess the snow situation and how screwed you truly are.
6. Melt cheese, toast buns, finally get back inside and relax.
Notes: Don't go outside in nothing but a robe, it was quite warm until the wind picked up and I ended up mooning my neighbors with a chapped ass.
