Its that time of year again for a GREAT time shooting Sporting Clays and Eating for a great cause. The shoot starts with a light Breakfast and some side games, Out back food provided at various spots around the course. (Usually Ribs, beef tips, Lamb etc.) some beers after shooting, and a nice Outback dinner during the awards banquet. This is a nice time for beginners as well as advanced shooters. You wont regret it!! Here is some info about the charity.
The Outback Steakhouse Charity Clay Classic will be held on Saturday, June 17th 2017 at The Point at Pintail in Queenstown, MD.** The “Outback Shoot” attracts over 300 novice, amateur, pro shooters and guests.** The tournament is unlike any other because shooters and guests are able to enjoy Outback’s food all day long: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner!**
While the activities and hospitality are top-notch, the cause is even more worthy. Proceeds generated from this tournament benefit the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins Hospital.** This will be the tournament’s seventeenth year! And, over the past 17 years the tournament has generated over $600, 000 for the hospital and cancer research.
Chesapeake Bay Area Charities, or CBAC is a nonprofit organization founded by the local Outback Steakhouse owners with the purpose of giving back to Maryland and Delaware communities. For information about the Outback Shoot and other fundraisers please visit us on Facebook or our website. *Cindy Hearn is the tournament's director and can be reached directly by email, cindyhearn@cbacharities.com
We are thrilled to welcome new participants to our fun event. Added this bonus this year- the event makes for a great Father’s Day outing.
