Might want to rehome it. I volunteer my services. I run a small shelter for homeless and unwanted blades.

Several years ago, I had a Boker AK74, and as soon as I opened the box to look at it (they come in one that looks like an AK mag), I flipped it open, and it bit me. In fact, over a several month period, every time I opened it just about, it bit me. It was just an ornery knife, so I gave it away. It never bit the new owner.
I have since gotten other Boker AK knives. None have bitten me.

I did, however, remove them myself.

Please tell me you used the knife that caused the wound to remove the stitches.

When I was 14, I cut myself with a Boy Scout knife. I was cutting a piece of wood when the knife caught in the wood and then snapped, cutting deep into my finger. Blood went everywhere. Knives are underestimated by anti-gunners. They can do a lot of damage and not make a sound doing it. People can get a lot of attention by screaming, “I've been shot! I've been shot!” But try running around yelling, “I've been cut! I've been cut!” and people will say, “Idiot.”

Since that accident, I've never wanted to own a slip joint knife. They were designed by morons.
