I went by 2A today and picked up the fixed barrel adapter for my Osprey .45. That allows me to shoot the Sub2000 that I got from Mark suppressed! I think it looks pretty awesome, hopefully I can get out to ACG tomorrow to try it out.

    What do you think?

KJ - I'm the guy who walked in to the "2A lounge" as you were leaving with your adapter.

My Sub 2k is jealous! That looks awesome!

Thanks guys! It's always fun to stop by 2A sales. Mark had the donuts out today, they looked awesome!

The mag is a Korean made Glock 9mm 31 round mag. It doesnt work perfectly in my Glock, but has been 100% in the Sub2k. Don't know what the difference is, but I'm happy with the mags at only $13.00 each.

I'll report back after I shoot it. I'm sure it'll be an attention getter at the range.

I must say the sub2000 is one of the funnest guns I have ever shot, add a suppressor and it would go through the roof.

Looks good! Who threaded your barrel?

Long Range Precision did the work. They pressed a threaded sleeve onto the end of the barrel to give some more meat to the threads. They did the work for an exceptionally reasonable price. I highly recommend them:

I made some optic changes, and took a better photo. I haven't shot it yet, but hopefully soon!

I got to shoot the Sub2K with Osprey .45 today. It furthered my desire to never shoot a gun un-suppressed. It is just so much more fun to shoot when there is no big scary bang! I was using 115g bullets, and I have a 16" barrel so I was way supersonic and the crack was pretty loud, but the over all report was greatly reduced and really make the Sub2k even more fun to shoot than it already was.

I'm on a quest to suppress every gun I have... as soon as I can muster up enough bribes to the ATF (of the $200.00 sort).
