Operation Clean Sweep works as a cover because with low information voters you can always claim you are sweeping them out for other reasons. A low information voter only needs one thing the politician did the voter did not like to vote against. If the voter is anti gun just say you want to vote them out for increasing the GAS tax. We don't care why you vote against them just get enough people to vote the way we want.

It is probably a good idea to compile a list of all the unpopular legislation they voted for and list the legislators name and bullet points (pun intended) of unpopular legislation.
Joe Dokes - Voted For increased gas tax, increased liquor tax, etc
    - Voted Against people protecting them selves, Boy scouts learning gun safety at summer camp, etc.

So then whatever the state says is true? Doesn't the state make all laws "for the good of the people"?

Why would SCOTUS agree that these weapons inflict mass death when the statistics say otherwise? In the case of Maryland, how many murders have been committed with these scary rifles vs handguns? Last I checked, we're looking at 2-3 murders a year from rifles of any kind vs the 250ish from handguns. Or are you just saying SCOTUS is in bed with politicians and none of that matters? Please answer the same question re: mag limits.

And for the license, how does training fit into that? If you are not a prohibited person, why do you have to go through hours of training? Why do you have to pay these fees? How does a background check not accomplish the same goal without the hassle of fingerprinting?

This has nothing to do with safety.
If you applied for a CCW in Maryland you submitted your fingerprints as part of the application process. The license should have called a firearms owner ID instead of being called a license. The training is just a hoop for us to jump through. I don't like that either.

Blacksmith 101 is right on point. Forget gun rights(for a second), O'Malley and his minions have done LOTS of other damage that even folks who could care less about guns don't like. Gas taxes increases, the pending rain tax, and lets not forget the business unfriendly climate in the state. Its those things that resonate with all voters that must be used against these liberals.
