As we're shotgun only in our area, it's the
Remington 870 Magnum 12ga w/ my Burris sights.
    Good to about 120yds.
    Sabot slugs.
I'll have my limit by lunch.

My truck is all loaded up for the mourning. Threw my H & R 20ga slug gun in just in case. It will be too long a drive home to get it if I need it. Also two turkey sandwiches .
    Good Night.

    East Earl, PA
    .257 Magnum Weatherby for me.
Nephew is taking his slug gun.

We're sharing a blind, so he'll take anything close, I take the longer shots.

Yep! Wind is the best scent blocker in the world...

And does nothing to my bullets, but that's because I can't shoot worth a damn.... :)

Kinda silly, I just can't sleep before an opening day....

These photos are from in the stand this morning. I didn't get anything but, I saw some deer too far away. My dad got a button buck.

Went out this morning and fell asleep in the stand. Woke up after WWIII started. ended up seeing about 12 deer- 3 bucks and decided to take one that had an injured front leg. Got it with my DMPS AR-10 with a Leopold Mark 2 set-up. Good double lung shot so now I am operating my grinder and bandsaw set-up. I am thinking about making some Venison & wild boar sausage along with a good supply of steaks, burger and last but not least JERKY!!! Here is a pick-to bad the deer wasn't as well fed as I am:D

Wounded one, Uncle tracked her for a bit, then lost the blood trail (what little there was of it). Going tomorrow to see if I can find her corpse.
