    I'm starting to wonder why they bother to debate any of the amendments given that the vote is always going to be 50-81 ????

    While this bill will pass, every amendment and subsequent debate lengthens the process and makes the time to finalize this piece of crap shorter to complete.

    In Maryland....

    Gays=rights(not in the constitution)
    Illegal aliens=rights(not in the constitution)
    Lazy people/scumbags=free shit(not in the constitution)

    Law abiding gun owners(protected by the constitution) = criminals in waiting must be regulated and keep close tabs on.

    Congrats to Annapolis we are now California.

    Delta will be home soon enough.

    Oops. The governor didn't tell me what to say to that. It makes too much sense.

    History of Wild West was that regular folk in town were pretty safe. Ocaisionally things might get sporty in a saloon but was often handled in house. Not like what we have in Baltimore or Chicago today.

    Why does no one ask Dumais about this:

    “…although reducing the diversion of guns to criminals is a key objective of some gun control laws, there is currently insufficient research to discern the degree to which reductions in diverted guns affects gun violence, and it appears as though some have had no impact.”
    [emphasis added]

    Source: Webster DW, Vernick JS, McGinty EE, Alcorn T. “Preventing the diversion of guns to criminals through effective firearm sales laws.” Page 119 in Reducing Gun Violence in America: Informing Policy with Evidence and Analysis. Daniel W. Webster and Jon S. Vernick, Eds. Baltimore, MD: Johns Hopkins University Press, 2013.

    Thus Daniel Webster in his book refutes almost every argument made here!
