I’m posting a second thread about 2A/Gun Rights activity the Special Session of the Virginia General Assembly today in Richmond, to feature additional info about the NRA-ILA Rally also going on there now.
I’m keeping it separate from the thread already open in this Neighborhood section (“Virginia”) about the Virginia Citizen Defense League’s Rally at the State Capitol in Richmond today, out of respect for VCDL and its members’ intense and unrelenting hostility toward the NRA, and their absolute refusal to join or share in any pro-2A effort with the NRA or NRA-ILA.
The NRA-ILA is meeting up in the 6th floor Conference Center of the Pocahontas Building now, 10- 12 PM today.
Patriot Picket is at the State Capitol today to support the effort!
John Commerford, who did such an excellent job on behalf of the NRA-ILA at the last session of the MD General Assembly, is heading up the effort in Richmond today.
The second purpose of this thread is to highlight the fact that NRA-ILA has been active, on-track and continuing to focus in both MD and VA on the gun bill issues (including the MD HPRB veto effort) despite the turmoil at the NRA HQ:
