Broke this little gal in the other day.

This is actually marketed as a handgun. Because the barrel is 16”, ATF allowed Noreen to add the minimalist stock to it, effectively creating a .50 BMG carbine. I had initially installed a “chainsaw” handle on it in anticipation of muzzle jump. Weighing in at 18 lbs., muzzle jump was minimal and felt recoil wasn’t bad at all using American Eagle 660 grain ball rounds, so I decided it needed some optics. It’s fun and comfortable to shoot, although I’ve yet to sight it in with the newly added scope. It’s obviously quite loud and the ports on the muzzle brake immerse the shooter in a wave of spent gases. It’s all part of the experience….
