Recenty bought a Benjemin trail 2 nitro piston pellet rifle for rodent control and general practice. Very nice accurate rifle, but I do have 1 guestion about it. Beings is a nitro piston opposed to spring piston. Is there a rule of thumb on how long you can leave the gun cocked without damaging it? Is it safe to cock/load it without fireing it for a few days without damaging the piston?
