My HRT clone build. Still needs an Aimpoint Pro and a better charging handle and it's semi-auto only.

I kept it as authentic as I could with a Colt upper and Colt 11.5" HRT barrel.

Geissele OD green Super Mod MK4 rail.

Unity FAST micro mount.

DBAL-1 laser/illuminator.

Surefire 556 socom suppressor. Surefire light.

Hogue rubberized grip and stock.

Here's a little NFA pr0n with some HK on the side. Always thought that 45 ACP cans were just obnoxiously long. Here's something smaller. The "long" gun is an HK45 Tactical with a very old and very long AAC Tirant 45 (before they went to the modular one). The smaller package is an HK 45 Compact Tactical with a Sig ModX 45, configured to be about half of the full length. Really like the Sig cans, and how you have like 8 or so segments to individually stack on or take off. Anyway, thought it was interesting how much smaller the compact package it. Haven't shot it yet.

Sweet HKs

Are the pistons interchangeable between manufacturers? I bought a rugged Piston for my P30L but since my obsidian 45 is still in jail can I toss it on my silencerco omega 36m? It looks like it fits but don't want to damage anything.

Definitely do not swap pistons around between manufactureres. They are totally proprietary to each manufacturer. Obviously the threads are the same at the threaded end, but that’s it.

Nice HK45 Tactical V1. The V7 with the LEM is amazing. It's even more awesome with a Streamlight TLR-1s and a Silencerco Osprey 45 on it.

Not just the manufacturer, but sometimes even different suppressor lines from the same manufacturer.

I know it may not sound like much to some, but I have over 10K rounds through this 11.5” and it is still going strong. I’ve been very impressed with this little rifle since I built it 7 years ago.

My new Obsidian 45 on my Glock 21

My new Obsidian 45 on my Radial Delayed Blowback AR 45 braced pistol with 8.5" barrel. I am using an MVB adapter in the MILSPEC lower receiver so it accepts USC single stack mags. It does have last round bolt hold open. SWEEET!

Wow! That's sharp!! That looks like it will be a well-balanced shooter.
