Here's my meager contribution - all two of my NFA toys in the same setup!
I just finished the SBR conversion on the GSG5. Used a GSG5P barrel, cut off 1/2" and threaded it M9x0.75 to take a SIG 1/2-28 conversion adapter. (I have one of the Brownells three-lug screw on adapters, but it's a POS and totally unsuitable for use with a suppressor due to large tolerance problems.)
The action was been tuned to work with standard velocity ammo, and mods include removing the rebounding hammer strut, taking out one recoil spring and reprofiling the extractor to actually grip the case rims.
Prior to conversion it was a jam-o-matic, now she's run 4 full mags without so much as a hiccup.
