i have a registered lower that is intended for an SBR build. Do I need to fill out the form 1 before 10/1 or can i do it afterwards?

also, if i do need to submit the form prior to 10/1 but do not receive my "stamp" until some time in the next year or so, is that acceptable?

I apologize if this is covered, a quick search did not provide the up to date answers and it seems as though this is a moving target.

Form1 on a pre 10/1 regulated firearm is fine

Form1 or Form4 on a post 10/1 unregulated firearm is fine, as long as the OAL > 29" and complies with the copy cat test.
