    Hey all,
I'm pretty sure I'm about to start my first NFA (SBR) journey. Are there any reputable engravers down my way (S.PG/Chuck) that can do it, or am I better off sending it out? Also for the CLEO form, fill out the PG sherriff or just put Col Jones (MSP)?

Not sure if theres anycloser, but i just used blue customworks in Finksburg for some nfa engraving. He did them quickly while I waited, worth the hr drive for me.

Far as cleo i dont think it really matters, either works. They have no say either way. Local sheriff might be more likely to just toss forms in shredder. Ive done all my form 1 sbr/s to local sheriff, while all my silencer shop form 4s had head of msp.

For CLEO notification , Sheriff , or Chief of County PD , or States Attorney , or MSP LD are all acceptable .

PG Sheriff Dept will just return it back saying we don't deal with this . But since you're only required to Send it , they're not required to Keep it , if they send it back , or throw in the trash , that's a win- win .

Just keep your Registered/ Priority Mail receipt to prove you sent it , and you're covered for any ( unlikely) inquiries .

I just got back from Old Washington Armory to have my engraving done. Trey did a great job! I'll definitely be going back there!
