New to shooting

Hi everyone,

I've shot guns before and always enjoyed it but never owned one and so I haven't been able to do it much. I am planning on buying a .22 rifle to start with and would like to go shooting on the weekends and take my 9 year old son with me to teach him.

Is there anywhere near Catonsville where I can go to shoot a .22 rifle, and what types of range fees are there?

Welcome aboard. I'm not sure about near Catonsville, but google a range called On Target. Shouldn't be too far for you and I'd think you could fire a .22 rifle there.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I've been reading through some other threads and I think I would like to try out the AGC range. Can I go check it out before I join, and can anyone recomend a family friendly, and newbie friendly club that is part of the AGC?
